A fourth meeting of the Bulgarian Society of Neurosonology and Cerebral Hemodynamics with International Participation took place on 3rd and 4th October 2009 in Hotel Rodina with the logistic support of Atlas Consulting Ltd. The forum was held under the Aegis of the European Society of Neurosonology and Cerebral Hemodynamics. Lectures were read by the world-famous scientists from Austria Prof. K. Niederkorn and Prof. E.  G. Klein as well as by a number of their renowned Bulgarian colleagues. A round table on topic “Actual aspects of neurosonology” was held on the second day. The meeting was attended by two satellite symposiums of the pharmaceutical companies Gedeon Richter Ltd. and Sanofi-Aventis dedicated to therapeutical strategies in neurosonology.
