Atlas Consulting is a partner in the international project Quality online publishing services for tourism authorities in Europe. The project is a result of a public private partnership and is a joint initiative between representatives of the publishing fields and tourist structures to the municipalities in France, Spain, Italy and Bulgaria. The role of Atlas Consulting in the project is of a publisher and is to present and make popular Bulgarian destinations in such a way that will attract tourists from Europe. A partner from the Bulgarian side is Association for Development of the Mountain Municipalities in Republic of Bulgaria.
The project is being implemented under eTEN European Community programme and is directed toward improvement the attracting of tourists from different countries, as well as making popular European destinations. The purpose is a unified publishing platform to be created where information about tourist destinations in Europe will be kept and this information will be presented in the native language of each of the European countries, being consistent with its specific features.
The strategic and final objective of the project even after its completion is to attract the remaining European countries, to achieve high quality standards in the field of tourist services, especially in the e-tourism by increasing its part in the general market of tourist services.
The project started on July, 1-rst 2007 and will continue for 18 months.
